Postponed: Dressler Group at AMUG 2020 in Chicago/USA

AMUG Postponed 2 EN groß

Due to current circumstances, the 32nd annual meeting of the AMUG conference and the business meeting will be postponed and rescheduled to March 14 to 18, 2021.

DG – the system partner and powder designer
DG established itself many years ago as not just a contract grinder, but a system partner and powder designer for the international market – and as such it regularly sets new standards for quality and innovation. Now DG intends to build upon this position in North America.
"As a worldwide networking event, AMUG offers us the perfect platform to showcase our company as a holistic, sustainable partner with over 40 years of experience," says Managing Partner Jan Dressler. "For decades, our customers have appreciated the way we make their lives as easy as possible. And because the service mentality that helps us to stand out is particularly prominent in the USA, we want to look at more areas where we can become active here."

DG also has experience with the standards of quality and service expected in the US. Since 2017, the Meckenheim-based company has been a Preferred Partner of HP's 3D printing division.
DG develops and manufactures powders for the HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printers and ensures that all suppliers in the HP network deliver powders in the required quality. DG also acts as a partner for other printer manufacturers and additive manufacturing processes such as conventional laser sintering.

New workflow from DG opens the door for high-volume 3D printing
"In North America, and increasingly here at our own company, 3D printing is moving out of its niche and steadily establishing itself in the volume business. We have brought extremely attractive new solutions to AMUG for precisely this purpose," says Jan Dressler. One of the greatest benefits of 3D printing/additive manufacturing, compared to conventional methods, is the incredibly rapid process of turning a first concept into a finished product. DG has now applied this benefit to additive manufacturing itself. Because the new workflow from DG enables all printer manufacturers, and therefore all their users, to guarantee the desired product quality by using the right quality powder – for a trouble-free manufacturing process with no lengthy, expensive trial and calibration runs. DG develops the workflow and screenings at its own Innovation Campus. They are then tested and defined in terms of suitability for volume production on DG's own production facilities.
