Dressler Group at the trade fairs K 2019 and Formnex: the best that can happen to plastics

Kunststoff / Pulver / Abstrakt / Shooting HN Sept. 2019

Technological revolutions have been known to start in a garage. At Dressler Group, they originate in the company's own R&D facilities. The Innovation Campus will soon be established to concentrate and accelerate these activities.

Innovating with passion – for the benefit of customers
Research and development have been core competencies of Dressler Group (DG) since 1978. For decades, DG has not only been an integrated system and process partner for its customers, but also an external R&D department and extended workshop. The Group's expertise and holistic consulting approach are valued as independent assets. For this reason, the work of the company's own R&D facilities, Innovation Lab and the Technical Centre, will soon be concentrated at the new Innovation Campus, with an overall expansion of their activities.

Under the banner of the Innovation Campus, plans include stepping up partnerships and cooperation with customers and universities and bringing theory and practice together for maximum benefit. "Going forward, we want to use the campus organisational concept to express what has always shaped us: the joint pursuit of a goal with our customers and partners," says Jan Dressler, Managing Partner. "Our customers appreciate the way we cooperate – almost like friends. We want to make this unique spirit, our absolute customer focus, tangible for as many people as possible at the Innovation Campus."

A selection of future topics:

  • Recruiting working students and supervising their scientific work
  • Supporting new and existing customers with trials
  • Developing new plants and processes, including for new (bio)plastics
  • Developing new grinding methods
  • Establishing a Centre of Excellence for 3D Printing
  • Organising conferences and congresses

Dressler Group sets the challenge – Spherical Powder Technology (SPT) now ready for demonstration
One of Dressler Group's most significant innovations is the patent-pending Spherical Powder Technology (SPT). With this process, powders can be produced from high-performance polymers that could not previously be pulverized. This opens up entirely new applications for DG customers that were equally impossible before. As one of the trade fair highlights, new and existing customers are invited to challenge Dressler Group by registering one of their high-performance plastics for the SPT programme. DG's promise: customers will be thrilled with the results. Registration via email: mission-now-possible@dressler-group.com
